Launch week was inspiring. We started the week with about 160 members and ended with over 400. I’m writing this a few days later and I can see there’s enough member applications from yesterday waiting in the review queue to hit 500 members.

The week kicked off with a LinkedIn post and a request for contacts to share. That went really well, thank you everyone who shared or commented (if you haven’t, now is still a perfect time). Attribution is still far from perfect but 60%+ of new members were from organic traffic, more importantly the endorsements add credibility so even if someone sees a boosted post or ad they are seeing people they know endorse / follow us. LinkedIn followers will hit 1,000 in the next few hours, as that grows we’ll increasingly rely on organic reach.

I’m still individually reviewing every member to make sure we remain marketer focused. That is ah.. taking a lot of time but remains important. If you are reading this and yet to apply please do include validation of marketing experience. 

So apologies to anyone who has had to wait to get the confirmation of membership and to many who have reached out through other channels. I am in catch-up mode.

Overall though, could not be happier with the take-up and positive comments. Thank you! Next up - events to bring this community to life.
